Greyson Chance's new single "Waiting Outside the Lines" on Ellen

This kid is so incredibly talented. If this is his own composition, then my respect for him shoots up even more.

It is pretty obvious he's been getting some serious media and performance coaching -- the business of walking out center stage and playing to the audience doesn't look completely natural for him yet -- but I do think he's got some amazing potential, and the interviews *before* he'd had any of the coaching shows an incredibly poised and down-to-earth guy, so here's hoping he has a long and successful career.

 

I read an interview that implies that he is writing all of his songs. I guess when the album comes out we'll be able to look at the credits and see if they are written or co-written by him.
