so i have about 8 hours to use up as much data as i possibly can, before the cap restarts for the next month (the internet sucks in australia)

i need the names of some albums! Arty stuff, anything from hundreds of years old to this month, so long as it's artistic. I like every single style without exception, so that should make it easy.

so all you smarty, arty, weird people out there... you know who you are! Subject me to your musical snobbery and recommend me some art i should already have!

Every single Cirque du Soleil soundtrack! Can you explain the net in Australia as I'm looking to maybe study there.

i'm gonna veto sound tracks, i do like some, but i'd prefer albums or classical compositions =)

it just sucks, you cannot get a contract without a data and/or bandwidth cap unless you want to pay hajillions of dollars. I'm on 20gig/month, and should switch to a new deal, but i'm lazy =P

Everything by Maynard James Keenan. xD

And if you like him (I think you've said you like APC before, if not oh well), Rishloo's discography (which I think is just 3 albums).

Porcupine Tree's Discography (especially In Absentia and Fear of a Blank Planet :3)

side note not related to music so I apologise. Dont know if you have ever heard of this site before but its a great aussie forum. will tell you every internet plan and if its available on your exchange.

    http://bc.whirlpool.net.au/

BigPond has some good plans now, although I believe its mostly for those who have a home phone or mobile etc.

    Ok now to music:

    Blue October
The Tea Party (especially The Edges Of Twilight album)
The Dead Weather (one of Jack Whites side projects)
    Rasputina
    Sunny Day Real Estate
The Mars Volta (not really artsy but very unique =P)

I know you're playing that Nyman piece, so I'd suggest Phillip Glass, Steve Reich, Terry Riley, John Adams and really any minimalist composer.
Also have you ever tired last.fm? It often makes quite reasonable suggestions. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
