i totally loved the legend of zelda: a link to the past and that one game where like, you travel to real parts of the world or whatever. and yer like, this boy that plays the flute, and you can turn into two different spirit guides or whatver. i think it was call the legend of gaia or something weird like that.
Turtle Rock Dungeon in LttP kicks my ass royally. I've never been very good at the 2d Zelda, but that game is quite genius yes. I think the second game you're referring to is Illusion of Gaia, second installment in a Trilogy: Soul Blazer => Illusion of Gaia => Terranigma. I'm going through Terranigma right now; it really is an excellent game. Maybe I'll play the series in reverse order. 'cause I'm all Merlin like that.
Oh the good 'ol SNES... My first venture into game consoles. Since then Nintendo have been my favorite console manufacturer. [huggles SNES and games] SUPER METROID FTW!
Ooooh!! I still play mine! (when it is kind and decides to work!) I love Bubsy (a slightly obscure game.. not sure if anyone else has ever heard of it!) and definately Donkey Kong!! I spent (and still spend) HOURS playing these games, I know them all back to front, backwards and forwards. Long live SNES!! (!)
Best games in my opinion would have to be Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (Best Zelda game so far!) and Mario RPG! ^.^
Illusion of Gaia was awesome! I've heard the other two games of that series (which never made it to the US) are really good too. The BEST game though, was Chrono Trigger, hands down. Oh, and I played Bubsy. T'was a fun platformer. I'm surprised it never caught on more than it did.
I've heard of Bubsy, never gotten aroudn to playing it though. And Xequar, yeah! I can vouch for at least Terranigma (of the illusion of Gaia series); it is a very good game. Eehee. I think you're the only one who answered that question. ^^ Thank you.
