So this is a scene between the main character Ezio, an assassin, and his best friend Leonardo da Vinci. I cracked up watching it

That really is hilarious! And awesome body language for what are still essentially digital constructs. Poor Leonardo...

Too bad I still have to wait months before it's out on PC...

If I've never played Assassin's Creed before but wanted to jump into it would it be ok to start with this one or would I be completely lost with the story?

Umm...sorta lost yes...it'd be better to start with Assassin's Creed 2 if you're going to start with Ezio's story. Desmond (the real main character) does a recap more or less at the beginning of number 2 that catches you up. But I'd more say start with AC 1

Well, I do only have so much money to spend, you know :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
I bought heavily into a fancy new PC last year, and I do all my gaming on it. For the cost of a PS3 or 360, I could easily buy several new PC games, so I can afford to wait.

When the next PS or XBox comes out, I'd be sorely tempted to get one, though!

Well, I haven't played Brotherhood yet, but I hear it"s an exact contiinuation of AC2, so if you have to jump in, I'd to it at that one.
AC1 still holds up as a pretty good game, and it has a pretty good story (also, you can get it for really cheap these days), so if you have the time, it'd be worh playing anyway!

    Absolutely not.

And I remember playing the first Assassin's Creed and remembering how much it sucked.

Well I chalk that up to either poor taste in video games, or you just didn't like the game. Personally I think it's amazing.

...Or it was just bad. The 2nd was an improvement but you can't make a turd less stinkier by that much. Nothing to do with my taste.

I actually like AC mainly because it's just loads of fun to kill a bunch of people and wear robes and shit. The historical content is kinda cool, but pretty inaccurate.

Either way, that scene is funny and awkward. Leonardo acted like I do when the topic of hot girls comes up in conversations.
"Yo, she's like a 10. What do you think Eric?"
    "Eh, she's alright."

And you do? He's made a better case than you have whilst attacking my thoughts on the game.

I'm not saying I have better opinions...I'm saying that the majority of people already having posted like the game. And I'm just saying it's unfortunate you couldn't get into it.

every one has a different taste. saying the game sucks though is just plain wrong. Ican find a youtube video or almost any one saying almost anything. However matter of fact is THE GAME IS DAMN AWESUME!
