While I think it's one of the weakest in Radiohead's catalog, that says very little because everything they've done after Pablo Honey has been gold. Great album.
This band still amazes me. The new LP is wonderful, so much better than the previous one. "Hail to the Thief" is still their best album IMHO and probably my favourite album of all time. Now I can't wait 'til the announcement of a tour.
I'm a little underwhelmed. In Rainbows was a return to form and then they wait all that time for this... I hope there will be more, lots of clues (separator/ the vinyl edition being able to hold twice as much music as the current album/'Newspaper album' possible meaning multiple delivaries; to be honest I think I want mroe because I'm dissapointed about what there is.
Love Radiohead so much. Their music is just awesomeness in a bottle. Hail To The Thief was really good. My favorite is probably Kid A.
I must admit that I am liking Supercollider/The Butcher Still dissapointed in the album though. I wanted something as good as In Ranbows for its follow up and all I got was this crummy newspaper(not that I baught the overpriced vinyl). I'll just listen to my OK Compluter CD and glare at the King of Limbs thumbnail in itunes.:dry:
I've listened front to back three times...and I'm just not getting into it. I don't dislike it or anything. It sounds nice when it's on. But it's not something I think I'll ever put on to listen to. My standard comment is "I have the last couple of Talk Talk albums, so I don't need any later-day Radiohead." Lex
