Can't believe no one made this yet! Just post any comments or anything you have to say. Personally I'm having a hard time concentrating with how hot James Franco is.

Could a mod fix the title. I meant "all things oscar.". =p

I was wondering when Melissa Leo's speech was ever going to end. She went on forever.

And I melt every time James Franco smiles:love:

...really 'Social Network' for original score? They advertised a different concept when they did the whole media advertisement. eh. o well. I thought Inception should have won it. At least they won best sound and sound editing.....

Trent Reznor's score of that film is supposed to be rather awesome. Just saying.

I love Florence, I was so happy when she performed. Basically all I wanted to see was The King's Speech win something and her singing.
    She's so wonderful.

Is it just me, or is anyone else tired of Florence? Maybe its because we saw alot more of her over here before you did over there, but she's been around for the last 4 years living off about 2 succesful songs. Anyway, thats just my little rant :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Pretty glad with who won. Tho i would have liked David Fincher to win director. Social Network deserved music, it was amazingly scored.
Glad the fighter won two supportings.
Colin Firth was always going to win best actor, after that magnificent performance.

Only downside is that a film as good as True Grit won nothing, because of what a good year it was!

I'm stoked Natalie Portman won - I'm like her biggest fan out there - but just the 45 second clip of Annette Bening's performance convinced me she should have won.

And of course Anne and James did a fantastic job, as expected!

But I’m just curious; am I the only one who thought Kirk Douglas was already dead? He did a good job considering his age though, so props to him.

I read title I thought you meant my bf ^^ love my Oscar.

I'm really annoyed kings speech stole it all. The movie is a bit meh. We all know the 2 films of the year were 127 hours and toy story 3.

Damn academy ... They're so stuck up themselves.

James Franco is smokin hot and a good actor...but damn... he seemed totally out of it last night. And Ann wasn't that great, either. They need to bring back a comedian or two next year.

I agree. I'm not doing anything next year. Just saying...

But seriously, I am kind of pissed about how everyone (on those review shows I mean, not here) is bitching and moaning about how bad they were as hosts. I thought they did a good job. And might I just add: The Academy was clearly going for a younger demographic this year, which is why they went with James and Anne. All those stupid morning after shows just rip everything apart anyway, so I don't know why I watch them...

I freaking love Anne Hathaway but not as a host for the Oscars.

I LOVED The King's Speech! I am so glad it won. And I especially like it when films which are not big money hollywood films win!
