see what happens to the world when some canadian kid (who will remain un-named) who can barely sing gets ushered (no pun intender) into the spotlight and becomes a mega-super-star.

Lets just role with warhol and agree that everyone will have their fifteen minutes, and lets hope hers ends very soon... her voice sounds mechanical its auto-tuned so much...id actually like to hear her voice (not the song ever ever again) with out auto tuning and see if there was anything worth recording in the first place.

Yet from the above music video what dancing she does is stiff and uptight, words I wouldn't use to describe a girl who's taken a variety of classes for at least ten years.

I can't see the appeal at all. Sure, freedom and all that jazz to do what you want, but all I can just see another Justin-Bieber-esque singer - young, very ambitious but very little genuine talent that I can see. I won't be going out of my way to listen to her single again, just not for me.

I don't think anyone is hating on her because she's a teenage singer like Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez or someone like that. There's a difference. Those two have actual talent. This is... just awful.

Her voice is crap, the music video is crap (Why are they standing up the car? Isn't that... illegal? And for that matter, if she's waiting for the bus, why did she hop in the seat with friends? And where the hell were they going, to school? Without supplies? And why is it suddenly night? Why are they still in the car, in the same clothes? ), the lyics or horrible, talking about seats and Friday, and just... what?

She sounds like some purring cat. It's horrible.

 

Someone did a Bob Dylan version of the song and it's kinda funny and actually kind of good...it's crazy how the same lyrics can sound so different.

It would have been at least a 1/3 of the way more decent if no one danced and if it didn't sound like a robot singing who was tonedeaf, otherwise it would have been slightly decent ^.^

and no it still sounds terrible, now it just sounds terrible in a bob dylan voice so it at least isn't quite as irritating....
