    Well with the release of I believe the final trailer, I figured it's time to begin the EC final countdown to the final film. After the final trailer I cannot wait more than ever, it looks amazing and just absolute epicness. This will be the film to end all films. Forget Avatar, forget the hero films this summer, THIS is the one.

    It suddenly occurs to me that... I didn't even know they split the final movie in two parts. And I copletely seem to have missed part 1! And I still haven't read the book!!! :eek:

    Looks like I have my holiday cut out for me xD

    EXPELLIARMUS!!!

    They brought the 'first part' out before releasing the entire movie. Dont worry about buying the first part. Its just a rip off to get you to buy the same movie 1.5 times.

    Filip don't buy the first part, because it'll be released together probably sometime in December or so with part 2, or they'll be smart and for the DVD just combine them into one film.

    Wow. When I go see this I will leave the theater in a totally different place mentally. Harry Potter (for all intents and purposes) is my childhood. This final installment is like the last step in leaving my youth behind.

    I haven't watched the final trailer yet, but I still get goosebumps just thinking about the very first one they released. I'm so excited. There just aren't words to capture my anticipation for that final moment in the culmination of the greatest literary journey of my generation

    Tbh I'm kinda scared about the day of. I'm going for the midnight release and I dunno what time to get there. I've heard people line up the day before but I'm not spending the night then all day and then all night till midnight lol. So I'm trying to think when I should get there.

    So how is everyone dressing up? Assuming other people are dressing up. I'm probably going to go pretty conservative and just tape my glasses/rock the lipstick scar. This is what I did at the OotP release party at Barnes & Noble; they were having this game where you were supposed to find actors were dressed up as different characters, and more than one person thought I was Harry. So I guess it's pretty convincing? Haha.

    Can't wait for this :grin: but am I the only one disappointed with how the final fight looks? Both crawling towards the elder wand, really? xD

    I cannot WAIT for this!!! However, when Molly Weasly says her famous line (which I will not say in order to prevent spoilers) I will likely be in an audience of people who will start shouting and applauding. Which will be AWESOME!!!

    I grew up reading Harry Potters. Just like for so many others, this will be the end of it all. Am I meant to be a grown-up after this? :S
