Anyone heard the Country Road version of Born This Way?

I personally dont like this song at all. but this is a bit more bearable for me.

 

I like the original more than this version, as country music in general annoys me to no end. However, if this comes on during an iTunes shuffle, I'll listen to it.

 

Maybe it's just because I associate the vocals with the original song, but I really don't think the vocals work with those instruments. If she had changed how she sung it (maybe slowed it down and put more soul in them), it could have worked, but as it is, the song doesn't really work for me.

 

It's not amazing but it's not horrible.
