So, what gay, lesbian or transgender people inspire you? I can list a few. Sir Ian McKellen, to start with. Also Oscar Wilde and Alan Turing, just to mention a couple who were punished by the British take on pederasty.

Gregory Maguire, all the way! he wrote "Wicked", which has been turned into the broadway play we all know (and love), and the sequel to said prequel, "Son of a Witch"

Graham Norton seems to be the only one with a sense of humor.

Makes me wish I'd truly known my sexuality when I experimented, otherwise I could've been out then.

But yeah, these young people deserve some credit for being out at one of the hardest periods in their lives.

Neil Patrick Harris, Barney Frank, and Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore... I know the last one is fictional, but as a fictional character, he is quite inspiring.

I have to agree with this. If you are under 18 and out, you are my personal hero.

I'm gonna go with Lance Bass and David Yost(played blue ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers)

David Yost was my most ultimate favorite character in Power Rangers when I was growing up.

    Hmm..

Angelina Jolie, Anderson Cooper, Gareth Thomas, and Johanna Sigurardottir, the first openly gay world leader in modern times. ^_^

Angelina Jolie is gay? Really? Haha, I had no idea.

Also, I forgot to mention Robert Halford, Judas Priest's vocalist.

GASP! He was my favorite! I had the blue clothes, even!

I guess for me it's Neil Patrick Harris and Anderson Cooper. They are gay and don't deny it, and they also are just good at what they do. I want to be successful at something and happen to be gay some day! So far I only happen to be gay. :eusa_liar

David Yost (funny seeing as how I didn't realize how much an impact he had until later....for instance the fact that half my wardrobe is blue).
Neil Patrick Harris - He has everything I want/looking forward to having. A husband, a child, and an amazing career.
Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore. - Nuff said.
