    Pottermore is that really awesome Harry Potter website that's being launched in October, but starting today a certain number of people can get early registration by solving a clue on the homepage and finding the magic quill.

    Who's managed to register?? I DID!! :grin: :grin: *does a happy dance*

    Fucking Central time. I read Philosopher's Stone last week. I've been a huge fan since 1997. I stayed up until fucking two thirty with my British edition of Philosopher's Stone open to Chapter Five-Diagon Alley and then found like ten different hints saying it was going to be at 12 noon UK time, so I got up at 5:45, got three hours of terrible sleep, and found out it happened 45 minutes ago. Fucking not fair. North America is at a distinct disadvantage. And now how are we going to know when it goes up? I can't stay up until 5 every night, that's just not feasible.

    they should have no done it this way. they should just leave the whole thing open for people to solve the clues until all the registrations are done. it is looking like even though harry potter is international, the clues will be posted british time when the large majority of fans are asleep.

    It sounds like the rest are going to be posted at different times. That means I have my laptop or my phone on me and Chamber of Secrets at my side at all times from now until Wednesday morning if I have to. It's already past midnight in Tokyo. *paranoid*

    I am hoping that the ebooks are affordable when she released them with the site opening in october.

    I am getting a kindle now that all the borders in my area are closing.

    It's 7:30 here in Canada (Ontario). Anyone else know when things will be posted? Yes? Like I missed today and still don't really know how it works or where to find clues, etc. Can someone update me?

    each day will be the next book in line. so basically, you get a clue, gotta search for the answer, then add it to the end of the pottermore website... if you click the link on the green banner, it explains exactly how to do it.

    It's different every day. They won't tell because they don't want the sight to crash. I'm checking every 10-15 minutes or so, now that it's after midnight in the UK.

    I might end up doing that also. I want in because I just had my entire summer term collapse around me in flames, and I need as many distractions as possible.

    I think they put the clue on the page, and to find the quill you have to solve the clue and add it to the website quill.pottermore.com to find the quill itself. Then, you can sign up from there.

    I solved the clue yesterday, that's how :grin: Then I found the magic quill, then I registered and got a validation e-mail and validated my account.
