Im a huge dr who fan.... To the point of obsession and I have recently come to the conclusion that he is bi... Based on the episode "lets kill hitler" and *swoon* for matt smith
The Doctor, for a very very long time, was written and portrayed as entirely asexual. First time they really wrote him having any sexual tension or whatever was in the 1996 TV Movie. Which was fair enough, because most of the actors playing him before then were quite old (ie. above the 'acceptable' age for relationships on TV) or eccentric (eg. Colin Baker. If you've seen his Doctor, you know what I mean). So... all we've really seen was a bit of sexual tension with a woman in that movie, and then his relationships with Rose and Amy in the new series. None of which have been particularly sexual... as in, there's always been a lot of distance and reserve between them. So... I wouldn't rule anything out, but I'd definitely resist putting any labels on him either. At least until we know more.
Trying to think up the Doctor's sexuality just ruins the show a little more for me. Ugh, it doesn't frigging matter...
No. The doctor is asexual. (remember when he didn't know why Amy and Rory would want to share a bed when they could have bunks?) Anyway, what about Let's Kill Hitler made you think that?
Asexual and innocent aren't necessarily the same thing. Of course, we have no idea if Time Lords actually do reproduce sexually, now I come to think of it...
If you want to focus on a particular character's sexuality, go watch the spin-off Torchwood. Mmm, Capt. Jack Harkness. That man is a deity.
I remember somewhere along the line of Doctors, he had a daughter? I think a skin sample was taken from him and then cells were introduced into eggs and what not, but that's the only kin he's had and it wasn't sexual reproduction. Don't get me started how this "clone" managed to be female, that annoyed me somewhat.
Gallifreyans are all infertile and reproduce asexually according to most people, because they were cursed by someone. There's also this (list of all the times sex was mentioned in dr who)
The dr has definetly had a family which he talks about in the doctors daughter he does have enough understanding of sex river song hints at that ALOT and really I just want him to be
And Rose ... He so went there and he gets married as tenant ... He mentions it in I think his second last episode... And I wouldnt keep him from his work... That much (love the ec) cant talk like this in real life conversations ....
Well... this week's episode, he was very quick and unabashed to take up the pretence of being a gay couple with whatshisname. Does that mean anything? Probably not.
The next Doctor definitely shouldn't be a woman. The Doctor shouldn't change gender. And yeah, I see the Doctor as asexual as well. Biromantic asexual? But still. Enough of this sexual non-sense, it's not what Doctor Who is about.
