Hey everyone. Does anyone have any good Christmas movies to suggest? Doesn't strictly have to be Xmas-y but at least it's snowing and shows that it's sometime during the holidays. My family would prefer romantic and/or comedy. Kinda like "The Holiday" or "Serendipity" (I know they're kinda cheesy but i like them) Oh and nothing too graphic 'coz i have a little sister. Thanks guys and Happy Holidays!! PS. Oh and suggest as many as you want, i have Netflix =D Hehe
I have always liked Christmas Vacation with chevy chase. (Wonders to self if there is a gay Christmas move)
well. all my movie suggestions are gory or graphic in other ways. guess you could try movies like "The Santa Clause," etc... if you havent' gotten bored with them yet
I love The Family Stone and it has a very positive image of a gay couple in it who are not necessary in the plot, but make a great addition! And The Christmas Story is my favorite along with Christmas Vacation!
Haha, I wouldn't recommend that for christmas!! Definitely not romantic and/or comedy  But I love that movie too :icon_bigg I'd recommend a movie called Millions, it's a nice family comedy/drama, check it out! http://imdb.com/title/tt0366777/
Because I Said So, A Walk To Remember(if you haven't seen it), and Bridge to Terabithia(made me cry four times).
ACROSS THE UNIVERSE ACROSS THE UNIVERSE ACROSS THE UNIVERSE ACROSS THE UNIVERSE ACROSS THE UNIVERSE ACROSS THE UNIVERSE ACROSS THE UNIVERSE ACROSS THE UNIVERSE ACROSS THE UNIVERSE ACROSS THE UNIVERSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (there's a scene with snow in it...)
Thanks guys for the suggestions, I'll definitely try them all out. And yeah, loved The Nightmare Before Christmas and A Walk to Remember Maybe i'll watch 2:37 without the family.
Why hasn't anyone mentioned "A Christmas Story"? =) Good old favorite. Also "March of the Wooden Soldiers," another childhood favorite of mine with Laurel and Hardy. AND my personal favorite almost-Christmasy movie, "The Man Who Came to Dinner." Bit more sarcastic and cynical humor, but it's funny and has lots of romance.
that was my first thought! i was really impressed with the positive way the gay couple was portrayed in that movie, it diverges completely from the stereotype that the media frequently perpetuates
