Default Les Miserables

Found this little ditty on youtube. I was seriously like . Les Mis is seriously my favorite musical of all time (followed closely by Wicked), so I thought I'd share it with you guys.

Most of the cast is from the original London Cast (including Jean Val Jean). It is AMAZING!

have you seen the 10th anniversary dream cast?

I think they did a 25th anniversary preformance too, but i find it strange that they cast Joe Jonas in it.

I was in Les Mis in tenth grade. It was so much fun. Honestly, it's not my absolute favorite musical, but it was the most fun I ever had on stage.

There are three professional recordings that I know of. There's the original Broadway cast recording, which contains the highlights and most important music. That's my favorite--these were the people who were used to acting and singing it on a regular basis, so you really get the depth of emotion IMO. The second was the Dream Cast recording they did for the tenth anniversary where they put together a collection of singers to perform all the music, incidentals and all. I don't like the Javert as much there, though my younger brother insists that the Dream Cast is the best. I haven't seen the 25th anniversary one yet, although having a Jonas brother in it kind of makes me go <.<
