I like how it looks like an Adam Sandler Slap-stick dumb humour fest...you know to attract that "Kind of crowd." but actually turns out with a moral in the end.

Thank you Hollywood for supporting the gay community

 

I actually thought this was so patronising to gay ppl, but that's just my opinion. Like it totally just went with the stereotypes. For instance, when the big black guy came out, it could have been a really powerful moment, but they played it for cheaps laughs.

And as for the "moral" at the end...in my opinion they only included this cos they needed to make sure they didnt have minority groups on their backs. It basically comes in at the laast moment and doesnt follow the tone of the movie

Also, it TOTALLY (as in TOTALLY) ripped off the Aussie film "Strange Bedfellows" which basically has the exact same storyline

Now, just remember thats just my opinion, and I havent seen it for at least a couple of months

Yes. I hate this movie for the simple fact that it is totally un-original. It is basically an american version of an australian film

Yea I agree completely with this, I didn't feel comfortable watching this. It was really stereotypical and I just couldn't laugh at most of it. It is a big copy of strange bedfellows. I was really disapointed that the whole movie wasn't like the last 5 minutes too.

 

I couldn't even get my son to watch this movie at all. I rented it and yes, it did have the stereotypical gay jokes in it but the message in the end was good. It it made a few people think, then I don't think it was all that bad. I didn't know there was a similiar Aussie movie.

 

The thing is though..
There is a particular audience of movie watchers out there who are the kinda of people that would watch a movie because "Adam Sandler" is in it....I just think it's a great way to bring non-ignorance to those "Type" of people.

 

Yeah, I think InaRut hit the nail on the head. It's more for that crowd.

Anyway, I pretty much hate anything with Adam Sandler in it. =/
