Could anyone recommend good movies or books with lesbian romances in them, but which are PG-13 ish? I'm not quite ready for watching R/NC-17 material just yet, and honestly, I don't have any idea where to start.
Check out If These Walls Could Talk 2. It is an amazing film about three different groups of women (all three feature lesbians or lesbian issues). It would have to be, undoubtably, the best lesbian film I've seen yet. It's very romantic, and the sex is not hardcore NC-17 sex or anything. And it stars Ellen Degeneres and Sharon Stone as a couple.
The Lword might be a bit too hardcore for you but it has really good lesbian storylines. Books: "Annie On My Mind" by Nancy Garden "Sing You Home" by Jodi Picoult (DEFINATELY recommend this author and her books though this is the only gay themed ones I've read of hers) Books by Sarah Waters Books by Jeanette Winterson Category:Lesbian writers - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Movies: Lost and Delirious Loving Annabelle Imagine Me and You Better Than Chocolate I Can't Think Straight
Keeping You A Secret by Julie Anne Peters. This is by far my favorite book. I don't know about any movies but the tv series South Of Nowhere is amazing
Saving Face is my favorite movie. It's about a closeted lesbian Chinese doctor living in New York. It's funny and sweet. I can't think straight Fingersmith by Sarah Waters
Lost & Delirious is a really good movie with a lesbian storyline, & it has the uber-cute Piper Perabo in it as well! This one is on my list as being one of the best movies with a lesbian storyline & I highly recommend it!
you should watch this indian movie called Fire, its one of the most artistic and realsitic portrayal of lesbians iv seen on screen... its such an incredibly beautiful and a sad movie... please do watch it!
Keeping You a Secret is great. Dare Truth or Promise by Paula Boock is pretty good. And everyone should read Annie on my Mind by Nancy Garden. It was the book that I read just before I really started admitting I was a lesbian--and then I came out. It is a lovely book and had a very profound impact on my life.
