Amazing anime... And the cutest should-be couples ever. I felt the whole time like Kyoko and Sayaka were a couple, as well as Homura and Madoka. And I think they are to most of the fandom.
It's definitely my favorite! The art in it is so cool, and I love how well... deconstructing it is. I can't imagine watching a normal magical girl anime after this. I'm writing an essay on why it's my favorite T.V. show in English. XD
What a coincidence...I just so happened that I watched the first few episodes of this anime with a couple of guys a few days ago. It's not really the kind I usually go for, though, but it's certainly intriguing.
When you say "first few", I'm assuming you meant the first three episodes...episode 4 and beyond is total and epic deconstruction of the "magical girl" sub-genre. I'd really encourage you to finish it. It's just that good.
Yes, it was just the first three episodes that we watched. The guy who introduced it to us is planning on having us watch the entire series. I did end up liking Ouran High School Host Club despite my initial impressions, so there's hope.
Just to add: If you're thinking that Mahou Shoujo Madoka is going to be another Sailor Moon ripoff....you're completely wrong. :lol: Be prepared for some serious mind screw.
I want to. I was reading a translation of Farewell Story with my friend. Sadness I'm going to try and get them from the library (Haha, wish me luck), but I'm reading Higurashi right now.
I loved Madoka, Great anime it was too, such a shame it was only 12 episodes, but there are 3 movies coming out sometime soon (2 Recaps and 1 New Footage) Thanks Friends at MAL for the information on that
