Well, I guess I'm just going to be the vampire weirdo that always posts in the dead of night.

Anyway, I just had a particularly rough end to a relationship, and I prefer to self-medicate with music. I like pretty much all genres, from pop to punk and anything alternative. What's your favorite breakup music?:help:

    Guns N' Roses - Estranged

    ---long but soooo worth it.

Bumblefoot - The Colour Of Justice
The Darkness - Is It Just Me?, Holding My Own, Love Is Only A Feeling
Depending on how you feel towards your ex, then Back Off Bitch and Used To Love Her, also by GN'R, are awesome.

There's absolutely one great break-up/love story tragedy song that I like, but it's Japanese.

Try looking up for Just Be Friends with the subs; it's really good.

Buy 'Dummy' by Portishead. Seriously. It's like 17p on Amazon (which is like 10 cents if you're american)

That album gets inside your head.

Although I haven't had a bad breakup, I'm pretty sure all I would do is sit in my bed and listen to Adele....

The ultimate depressing breakup song - Love Hurts by Nazareth...

    Other songs for me include:

    F@!? You by Headstones
All Out Of Love by Air Supply
    Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd
    We - Volbeat

Now that would be good breakup music. In fact, anything by Pink Floyd would do for me. Maybe go with Another One Bites the Dust by Queen just to perhaps lift my spirits at the slight humour that if I was listening to that in such a situation, it may not be the last time

    I think I go through 3 stages

I listen to Adele for the big crying and self pitying stage

then to stuff like Taking Back Sunday.. anything to scream and trash the room to

then when I'm finally getting over them I dream I ever got to sing this song to them

Yeah I'd pretty much say Adele too. Also big fan of Pink because a lot of her songs are not just about break ups, but also about coming out stronger. "So what, I'm still a rock star, I got my rock moves, and I don't need you" :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:. They're both awesome artists who really more or less tell their stories and say to move on in their own way.
