Animal Farm by George Orwell

    It was a good book. The fact that it's an allegory to the Russian Revolution makes it even more interesting.

    How about you guys?

    1984= AWESOME. Favourite book next to the Shining.

    I read it. To me it was kind of a weird book but it was worth the read.

    Animal Farm was great. We read it in 10th Grade English.

    Animal Farm is awesome. It's very political and the ending is definitely the best part. And the whole links to communism and everything. It's definitely a must-read.

    We studied it in 8th Grade English. Beat that! jks lol

    I liked the book but studying anything at school with a bad teacher ruins the book :frowning2:

    It's a great book with a lot of good statements about society and freedom. "All animals are equal. Just some are more equal than others"

    I really enjoyed Animal Farm. The Russian Revolution allegory kept me interested the entire time. My advanced english teacher would help us match up book events to the actual events.

    So I liked it because of that, and simply because I like farm animals :]

    I read it in high school, and I remember liking it.

    Yeah, I definitely loved 1984.

    I read it in year 7 which is like 12 years oldish?

    Anyways, it was okay, wasn't old enough to really appriciate it i guess
    I'll re read it sometime.
