Since the radio stations are playing them excessively again, which Christmas songs to you like and which do you hate? Some examples: Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You Wham! - Last Christmas Shakin' Stevens - Merry Christmas Everyone Band Aid - Do They Know It's Christmas? John & Yoko - Happy Xmas (War Is Over) The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale Of New York Greg Lake - I Believe In Father Christmas Elton John - Step Into Christmas Wizzard - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday Slade - Merry Xmas Everybody Mike Oldfield - In Dulci Jubilo Paul McCartney - Wonderful Christmas Time The Beach Boys - Little Saint Nick Cliff Richard - Mistletoe And Wine Aled Jones - Walking In The Air S Club 7 - Perfect Christmas Chris De Burgh - A Spaceman Came Travelling David Essex - A Winter's Tale Mud - Lonely This Christmas Darlene Love - All Alone on Christmas I have never really been a fan of that sort of music but the ones I am tending to sing along to when they are played on the radio are "All I Want For Christmas Is You", "All Alone on Christmas" and "Fairytale Of New York". If I want Christmas music at home I generally play the Phil Spector Christmas Gift For You. Bob Rivers has done some good Christmas parodies. "Cashing In On Christmas" by Bad News sums it up rather well too.... http://www.mad-music.net/html/xmass/xmas.html
i love the slade and wizzard songs! but one u forgot was the darkness - christmas time wich is just as good as any of the older ones. i do hate most of the modern christmas novelty songs tho, they r just made for the commercialism IMO and i do hate that about xmas but i cant change it and they r fun for a while, never wrth spending ash on tho.
glad to see you like it, npot liking that song is blasphemy! and when u see the coca cola christmas advert and hear slade on the radio then you know its christmas and i love it!

I haven't got to enjoy much Christmas music because I was STUPID enough to introduce my daycare children to The Chipmunk Christmas and that is all they want to hear. They can all rap The Night Before Christmas! Still my favorite Christmas song is Oh Holy Night. My Grandma played it at church every Christmas on the piano. She died on Christmas morning a couple of years ago.
Something horrendously cheesy. My parents played it every holiday season, so it pretty much meant December/Christmas to me right up to this day. Lex

My favourite by far is "Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas" I have a version of Judy Garland singing it. I'm not sure if she did it originally but but it's my favourite version
i would have to say my favorite christmas songs are the south park verson of O Holy Night with cartman getting hit with a cattle prod every time he messed up and the song called "The Twelve Pains of Christmas". :roflmao:
Carol of the Bells White Christmas War is Over O Holy Night God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen My Grown Up Christmas List Angels We Have Heard on High Mother Mary There's this one that is taken directly from (I think it is) John. For the life of me, I cannot remember what it is called. It is about Mary. Help? I'm so happy. YouTuber AvidActress007 is doing a Youtube caroling of My Grown Up Christmas List! I <3 Natalie.
Like all Irish people, my favourite Christmas song is Fairytale of New York (I recall once being absolutely twisted in a bar in the Canaries in mid-July and singing this...)
My favorite of all time is Mary's Boy Child by Boney M. I remember hearing it on AM radio when I was a child. It brings back old memories. The song is from the 70's so that why you got to love the hair and outfits .
^ Amazing song. ^ I love Christmas music. It'sone of the few parts I actually liked about religioug school...
