I don't mean relationships (but it would be nice), to show homosexuals, transgendered people etc on children's television shows, before they get brainwashed into thinking it's wrong?

I think they should; children can understand it fine. Actually, the Dutch show Kinderen Voor Kinderen (sp?) does just that, with songs like "Two Fathers".

They have for years. Way back when in the mid-late 90s there was a PBS show called The Puzzle Place that had an episode on different types of families. One of them was a lesbian couple with a daughter.

The male character, Tinky Winky, from the Teletubbies holding his handbag > [IMG]

But I agree that its something which should be more prominent. 10% of males and about 5% of females are homosexual and 50% of all males and about 25% of females identify as something other than 100% heterosexual. I dont know what the statistics are for transexuals, transgendereds etc. These statistics should be reflected in the TV.

Where are you getting those numbers from? They seem a bit ridiculously high for self-identification

Alfred Kinsey. As I understand it, his reports are considered to be the best.

(I'm also giving these statistics from memory but I'm pretty sure that they are correct.)
