yay, i was worried i was the only one...and yes, apollo, very hot.

and yeah, battlestar galactica is a scifi show thats a bit of a social commentary too...pretty much religious fanatics (cylons) almost wipe out the human race and the president turns to scripture in time of need (cept i like her cause shes awesome). its good, about 10x better than any other scifi show out there.

The show is AMAZING... easily one of the best shows on TV ever. Edward James Olmos and Mary McDonnell (Admiral Adama and President Roslyn) are two of the best actors I've ever seen perform.

And Lee is cute but way steroidy overmuscled if you ask me. I think Billy is cute in a nerdy way. And the actor portraying him is from my hometown. But my favourite is Sharon, I think... for her I could be a lesbian.

Wow, ok, so i just found out that scifi's working on a bsg spinoff called "Caprica" which is gonna be set about 50 years before cylon attack on the colonies and focus on how the cylons were developed and how the cylon wars came around. I was reading something and it said it will have a lot of "corporate intrigue, techno-violence, and sexual politics". I don't exactly know what they mean by "sexual politics"...my guess is it has something to do w/ possibly creating cylons for sexual purposes (yes, i know that cylons didn't begin to look like humans until just recently in the bsg universe, but maybe they were intended to?) and focusing on issues like prostitution/pornography, but I'm also kind of hoping that there will be some gay themes...possibly? though that's probably a little too much to hope for...mixing battlestar galactica with gay storylines...that'd just rock too much.

"Sexual politics" refers to men and women scheming against one another... basically "battle of the sexes" type of stuff. Politics involving gender. Which would make sense in a setting including corporations.

Ah, I see. That's really kind of annoying...I was really hoping for some gay sub-plots...but that probably won't happen unless they're lesbian in order to draw in a wider male audience, which is stupid and a lot of times works really well.
