    I come up with amazing plots for stories in my dreams, but I always forget them by the time I'm going to right them down. :dry:

    But I do love writing songs! :icon_bigg

    Me! I love writing novels, usually fantasy with some action and mystery in it. Sorta like Harry Potter :grin:

    Whatever catches my fancy at the time. I've written for Megamind, HTTYD, Sonic, Legend of Zelda, Kung-fu Panda and Toy Story to name a few. Right now it's My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, but that could change quickly!

    I'm write yuri fanfictions. :slight_smile: "Yuru Yuri" ones mostly.
    Also, I'm (attempting) writing a novel. Its about a normal girl that gets sucked into a world because of "morphers" that need her help to defeat their "king" and take back control of their original land.

    I'm currently taking an Associate of Arts in Creative Writing. I'd mostly written poetry before, because I suck at writing more than 2-3 pages of anything longer. My "procrastinating" status refers to the fact that my final portfolio for my fiction course -two short stories- is due by midnight, and I'm not done editing yet.

    I love writing! I am amazing at it! But sometimes my creativity is lacking.... I can write papers with ease, and with a muse, I'm sure I could write a full-length, gripping story! But I only like to write about things that interest me.

    At the insistance of my english department advisor, I am revising a manuscript to send out.

    I currently have a short story in consideration with a anthology, and I am plotting out the novel length version of it.

    However, I am in the middle of play rehersals, so my free time is devoted to line and cue learning, so my writing is temp on hold for the next few weeks.

    Wow, it's great to see that there are so many other writers out there! I've written a novel, but I fell into a 2 year writers block. Slowly starting to come out of it now, so I'm seeing where it goes. I love to write horror, science-fiction, and post-apocalyptic pieces, and I do a little fan fiction and slash fiction from time to time. :slight_smile:

    We've got that in common! I love reading Stephen King and Clive Barker, and I hope to write on their level one day! Also really big into fantasy as well.

    Haha. I hate when that happens :tantrum: But it's really cool that you write music! I have a high respect for people who are musically talented, such as bands and composers.

    I'm a writer as well. Usually, I write flash fiction (under 1,000 words) and short stories. Currently, I'm working on my first novel. It is still in the planning stages though. I hope to get it published one day

    I purport myself to be a writer, although I have fallen way out of practice in the past year. I had originally intended to write my own sitcom, since I love them so much, but lack of a computer (since I write slower than my brain processes information I prefer typing) and depression sort of moved that project to the back burner for a bit.

    Recently I started knocking off the writer's rust and shaking out my mental cobwebs to pen a (humorous) romantic novel based on my sister. It started as a joke, but I've already got 5 volumes planned so... xD

    But I like writing overall, so I always tell people I write. Even if I'm not very good I find joy in it, and it helps me decompress when I'm feeling something.

    That's definitely the best part about writing - being able to use it as an outlet. It's been nice clearing the cobwebs and dusting off this old hobby, and hopefully I can use it to my advantage :slight_smile: Congrats on doing the same, and let me know how the novels turn out!

    I like to write short stories, they usually turn out to be horror stories even if I'm not trying. Right at the moment, I'm trying to write a novel but I've run into a bit of writer's block at the moment.
