I saw a glimpse of this in a local paper while on the plane. Google brought up this post. Kinda funny. Nice to know that Oreo represents though. Even if it is kinda sneaky. What are your thoughts?

Loved it. Glad it was more of a joking thing, I thought it would be another person bashing Oreo but nope, instead it just was him making me laugh. Good on him...and I still want that cookie....

I think it's a fantastic advertisement! I love Oreos, so I'm glad to know they support my people and our plight as we campaign for equality.

So now I have another excuse to be fat: I eat Oreos to support LGBT Pride.

    Works for me.

I'm really starting to like all these ads that are almost kind of subtle... it's like they're not making a big deal out of it. And let's face it, nobody should be making a big deal out it. It should just be accepted!

Does anyone remember that movie where this girl goes to a lake house for the summer and discovers a sea monster lives in the lake? She would leave oreos on the edge of the dock and in the morning the cream filling would be missing...

I love it. I really, really can't explain how much I want more ads like this, for things that take a good position even when they don't have to!

I seriously want that cookie...anyone remember back in the 90s when Oreo had different coloured ones? I think they were all same flavour, but I distinctly remember having a yellow one, and an orange one before :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Me too!! I remember those! I think they made green ones before too, maybe for Shrek or something...

And about a year ago they had pink ones that were strawberry ice cream flavored in the middle. Those were so good!

I saw this on Facebook--it kinda made me mad with people's comments and something about a petition.:tantrum: And you couldn't even understand what the petition was about, if it was for or against PRIDE! People were saying it was totally unnecessary and all that jazz.

I thought it was a very neat and creative way to show a little support for the gay community. I saw this picture on facebook and it made my day

It's nice that they made this ad (and I want rainbow Oreos!), but it's not really as big of a deal as people are making it out to be. They aren't ending homophobia/transphobia, they just realized that we are an audience with disposable income and decided to market to us.

Would that be the one that needs the following response?

(Can you post links to Tumblr's that aren't yours?)

As for Oreo's - urgh! They taste so weird.

They do that by season at least in the states. I had yellow ones in spring and red ones at christmas this year  i always thought the colored ones have a slightly different taste, call me crazy(!) but they seem slightly better to me.
