Does anyone here own one? I have been thinking about getting one. I am aware they live for 12-14 years so they are a commitment. But I find them adorable and can afford to buy/take care of one. So my question is has anyone owned/currently owns one? Are they good pets? Are they loud?

My friend has owned a couple over the course of her lifetime. I'm not extremely well-versed on them, but they are a HUGE commitment. They are community animals, and it's not wise to have a solitary sugar glider. They can stop eating and drinking out of loneliness, which can lead to death. They need a lot of your attention. And they CAN be barkers at night, especially if they don't get enough play and out of cage time.
