I've been feeling a little down for what goes arround in my life nowadays however i found that in music you can find reliable support so i wanna know what are the songs you guys listen to give yourselves courage and emotional support. I've been listening to Britt Nicole's Gold I'd like you to check it out over here. because its such an amazing song it says so many true things. I'd like to know what are the songs you guys listen to find strength on yourselves and remind you that you are awesome.
Ha I have a song to make my day better to! I can't recommend this enough.
These songs have consistently given me strength. Tokio Hotel - Zoom Into Me lyrics - YouTube While I can concede that his voice might have the potential to annoy in the chorus of this song, this song really helped me though some very stressful times in my life. The message it gives me is, "If you're feeling lonely, overwhelmed, jaded, or defeated, I'll be there for you." I know, it's kinda sappy, but hearing Bill say that has made me feel better many times. Though sometimes, I instead interpret the line, "When you can't breath, I will be there, zoom into me," as meaning, "If you're feeling overwhelmed, focus on yourself and what you need right now. It's okay to need to look out for yourself." Pink fucking perfect - YouTube This one helps me feel better when I'm in more of an ambivalent mood. The message I take away from it is, "You're not perfect, but you're more than good enough, and don't let yourself or anyone else tell you otherwise." Riverboat Gamblers - Don't Bury Me...I'm Still Not Dead w/ lyrics - YouTube This has to be one of the most inspirational songs I know, and it can put me in a really good mood. It basically says, "To all the disparaged people, to all the outcasts, to all the freaks, to all the people who feel hopeless, scream it out: I'm still not dead! Don't bury me yet!"
The following songs might be relaxing for you: Avril Lavigne - Keep Holding on (Pop Rock) Eragon Video Leona Lewis - Here I Am (Pop) Prayer's for Bobby Video - In my opinion, you should really watch the movie. It is such a sad story, but it is fantastic and heart crying. Charice Pempengco - Note to God (Soul-Gospel) - She talks about everything that she would ask God. Ideas such as peace and love in the world to mend and for war to end. She contains a big soprano voice, reaching to Whitney Houston, it is very relaxing. She is also 20 I believe, 18 when she recorded this. Live on Oprah Video Charice Pempengco - As Long As You're There(Original Glee Song) (Pop) - If you are having a love depression(I guess), I recommend this. The lyrics as she sang it really strikes to your heart.
While this song doesn't have lyrics the melody just does something to me that always finds a way to bring me back up after feeling down and gives me the strength to go on. And yes I know its from a pokemon movie ignore that and just listen to the beautiful sound. Pokemon Oracion - YouTube
Hope everyone's recommendations helped, though the Pokemon song will be hard to download to your iPod. Regardless, hope you enjoy.
It's weird, but when I feel like I'm gonna lose before a run, I listen to "Your Love is My Drug" by Ke$ha, It always gives me the courage I need to not lose.
Titanium, by David Guetta ft. Sia: The song is about channeling one's inner strength. Having been bullied and harassed in high school, I always found this song to be so empowering. Titanium also just revs me when listening to it before/after working out. Blow Me (One Last Kiss), by P!nk: I heard this recent song on the radio a few days ago. I listened to it and got hooked - it seems to be an ideal breakup song. I have not been in a relationship yet, but the honesty and sincerity of Blow Me (One Last Kiss), let alone P!nk's other songs, comes through.
She sang that? I've been wondering that lately. Thanks ( ---------- Post added 7th Jul 2012 at 07:42 PM ---------- Here are some other more recent songs that I concider helping for me I thought you might want songs that are a little more recent.
