I'm looking for some good movie recommendations for me to watch over the next few weeks of summer, and not just LGBT movies either. I'm really interested in movies that have really good plots and are original, not just some movie that have 50 other movies just like it. Some that I've seen like this are:
    -The Butterfly Effect
    -V for Vendetta
    -Momento

So, if you have any recommendations let me know. I also have a list of movies I'm considering, so if any of them stand out as great movies please tell me as well.
    -Battle Royale
    -The Prestige
    -The Edukators
    -Catch me if you can
-Fight Club (I'm about to start the book)
    -A Beautiful Mind

    Thanks

The other week I watched Precious and thought it was amazing, just be warned of some of the more disturbing scenes.

Well that depends on what sort of stuff you are into.

I enjoyed Inception and Brave of the movies I've seen most recently.

Runallday and Shevanel, you guys have really good taste in films!
Funny tarantino was mentioned- a few of my friends and I are having a 'Tarantino night' tomorrow (I've seen all of the ones we're going to watch apart from Jackie brown. And we're watching a pretty extensive list).

I don't really know what sort of films you might like but going on the fact you requested movies unlike any others I'll give you a few-

Most of the below seem to be quite 'love it or hate it', and I can't garentee which side you'll be on, but they are certainly different!
    - The fall
    - Dogville
    - Being John Malkovitch
    - In Bruges
    - American Beauty
    - No country for old Men
    - Lucky number Slevin
    - Shallow grave
    - Welcome to Collinwood

    I love
The Amazing spider man-I feel that 3D would spoil it so I went to one of the few 2d showings. It is also good if your not an action fan as it is the most emotionally involving and that makes it so good. I just do not recommend 3D especially if not a action fan.

Prayers for bobby- Such a good and sad movie.

Enchanted- Just a great movie. Love it!

I love all those movies. I liked The Amazing Spiderman so mush I have seen it twice. I might go again. I love the movie and story, it is just an added bonus that Andrew Garfield is hot.
