Default The Casual Vacancy By J. K. Rowling.

Anyone getting excited for this book? Still pissed off that the ebook price is 19bucks, but I cant wait to see what Rowling does with a new genre and format. We know she can pull off fantasy and series, but seeing what she does with a stand alone realistic work of fiction is going to be facisnating.

From the bits and pieces I have read here and there as well as the synopsis, it does seem to be an interesting read. I might just get it.

Me too, though I have thousands of e-books, I mostly don't read them cause I hate reading of screens. Call me old fashion but I love the feel of the paper. It's not only safer on your eyes, but you don't need power to read, well accept a lamp at night.

The only thing i like at ebooks is that you can have loads of them and they weight almost nothing.

As for The new book, I can't wait to read it. It's quite expensive over here too but I shouldn't have problems with getting it.

Oh, I'm definitely getting it. If there's a cueing at midnight type thing like with the HP books, I'll do that. JK Rowling is one of my heros.

Of course. But this story cannot be as good, dammit women you cant conquer all genres lol. Gotta leave some for the little people . I'm really happy that she did start something new and not just milk harry potter, as SO manny writers love to do with thier bestselling series.

I love physical books and ebooks equally. reading on my kindle is basically the same as reading a paperback, just easier on my hands.

I am going to get a physical copy because the different is just pointless. unfortunatly, it comes out the first week of fall term, and I am transfering to a four year university then, so I wont have time to read it. I will likely get it, and wait till the weekend, and hope my homework is not too massive... but with first year french and level 300 literature, it probably will be a crapshoot.
