We often see alot of love for Rock, R&B, Hip-Hop, Pop, Band, etc. But I feel that people dont give enough recognition to the people in modern day who produce the music that we see in virtually everything. Movies, Video Games, Tv, Trailers, Everything. So I was wondering if there are any other fans of Film/instrumental/Beat music.

We have the every so popular Hans Zimmer. But I've grown fond of Zack Hemsey, and the lesser known GmRebelliousV.

Armageddon - GRV Music - YouTube Armageddon - GRV Music - YouTube

Zack Hemsey(This song is my current obsession.......)
Zack Hemsey - "Mind Heist" - YouTube Zack Hemsey - "Mind Heist" -

And It wouldnt be right without the infamous, Requiem.
Requiem for a Dream - Clint Mansell - YouTube Requiem for a Dream - Clint Mansell - YouTube

I love many different musical genre, but these truly shock me. I cannot fathom how they come up with this stuff. Every time I start working on my story I have to have something like this playing in the background. Some PLEASE tell me I am not alone in my love for this type of music. They dont have vocals, but they still arent any less beautiful O_O

I love this type of music. Ever since I discovered it, I can't stop listening. If you have the chance, and you haven't already, check some of these out. They blew me away.

Two Steps from Hell. They make orchaestra music for movie trailers, and they have the greatest sound I have ever heard. They currently have two albums out on itunes, with a third coming this month, and a fourth coming next month.

Thomas-Adam Habuda. He only has one album released, but it is really well done.

I LOVE instrumental music. It really gets me in the zone when it comes to writing and just about everything. Unfortunately, I only know a couple of groups, but I appreciate E.S. Posthumus very much and I've heard some music from Clint Mansell and some film soundtracks as well

I know. I always pick sounds depending on the type of scene I am planning to write and it really helps set the mood.

This sort of music is essentially the only kind I listen to. To be honest, the only songs I tend to listen to are from the Homestuck music team (more album choices on the side. If none of the songs in one album appeal to you, check another one and check all the songs. All the songs are quite different from each other.). They provide music that sometimes gets used in flash updates and follow the story. There are orchestral songs from all genres, from jazz to 8-bit to faux-orchestra to piano.

If people are interested I might link my favorite ones.

Eric Whitacre! So much of his choral work is amazing, but this one, his 2nd virtual choir, "Sleep," put me to tears the first time I heard it, and several subsequent times.

This is going to be a sort of long list. I'm just picking a bunch of different selections to show the varying types.

Another Chance - Piano, Violin and synth
    Serenade - Faux Orchestra
Crystalmethequins - Rock Synth or something. Not sure.
    Trepidation - 8-bit style
    Austin, Atlantis - Atmospheric
Dogfight - Not sure. Synth rock, probably.
A Taste for Adventure - Faux Orchestral
Song of Skaia - Faux orchestral.
I'm a Member of the Midnight Crew (Acapella) - Acapella. Clearly.
    Frost - Environmental
    Hearts Flush - Blues
Swing of the Clock - Classical

That's all I should put. I think. I'd put more if spoiler tags existed.

This isn't instrumental but sometimes Jonsí's voice is so godlike/inhuman it just merges with the rest of the otherworldly instrumentation.

And it's of course very inspirational, more so when you're at a ridiculous altitude in remote, impossibly beautiful Kyrgyzstan.

I have may used too many adjectives there.
