OK, just curious how many on here play a musical instrument, or are learning one, and what instruments you play.

    I am learning the bagpipes.

Bagpipes? Wish I could learn to play those, but that requires money I dont have at the moment.

I play clarinet, piano, ocarina, and saxophone

Actually, getting started isn't that bad. You don't start out with the pipes, you start on a practice chanter, and actually, you continue to use the practice chanter even after you are on the pipes. I was on the practice chanter for about a year and a half before even ordering my pipes. A new practice chanter is about a hundred bucks. You definitely want lessons, though, otherwise you are going to make mistakes and practice the mistakes so much it's hard to get rid of them. If you look on eBay, you can even get a decent used practice chanter for less. You just have to be careful, as the Pakistani practice chanters are much more dificult to use, but much cheaper. That was actually my first mistake. (the ones to get are a black plastic, called either Delrin or Polypenco). PM me if you want me to help find you one....

Does the electronic keyboard count? I only play for fun though, didn't have proper training. I kind of suck. Haha! But it's fun.

I started drums a couple years ago, but can't really say i'm good at it. Plus, i don't have the instrument now so i can't practice properly, bummer

I studied violin for 8 years, and piano for 11. I still play piano at a reasonable amateur level (so I can play some Bach concerti some of the time), but I did drop violin.

    I play with Garageband...

I mostly sing. I used to play clarinet well enough that I can read music, and I've managed to play a few video game songs on the piano.

I can play the piano well  And, I've really wanted to learn guitar and violin, and I have both, but I can't be bothered to tune them constantly, I don't know how to, so they just sit there and I never use them.

I produce and mix (very amateur) with FL Studio, Audacity, Audition, and Virtual DJ, occasionally using an actual mixer and some midi controllers... does that count?

I play guitar and write a lot of music.
Any type of genre, really. I try not to keep my music taste limited

I played the trumpet and vibraphone in high school. I've been trying to learn to play the piano too. It can be so relaxing :]

I've played bass for almost 15 years, I play a bit of drums as well but the emphasis really is on the words a bit!

I played the flute for 9 years, haven't played since I graduated high school though, but I'm pretty sure if I picked up my flute right now I could still play. I've always wanted to learn how to play the piano...hopefully I will someday.

I've been playing french horn for 5 years, mellophone for 2 (though it's pretty much the same as the french horn, just with slightly different fingerings), and right now I'm learning how to play the violin. I've been working on it for about a month now. I also plan on learning the trumpet because it's pretty similar to mellophone and it looks pretty fun to play.

I play horn, primarily. I know how to play trumpet, all the saxes, and steel drums. I also have learned basic oboe.
