Despite the fact that I'm not quite eighteen (just one year off ), I have already seen this film twice aaaand bought the soundtrack. I'm telling you that this film is awesome. It may be a musical but it's not cheesy in the slightest. Has anyone else seen it? And if you haven't, go see it!

I saw the film and it was amazing. however, i suggest you go see it performed on stage-if its done correctly it's even more astounding!

I'm seeing it tomorrow. I've listened to the soundtrack, and the only problem I have with it is that Mrs. Lovett is supposed to be really obnoxious... Not sound so calm. But other than that, it all sounds great!

Mrs. Lovett isn't portrayed as she normally is, but Helena Bohnam Carter is absolutely brilliant.

    I love Sweeney Todd!
My friends and I watched it last night. Despite the fact that I pretty much laughed every time blood was shown, I still love it.
Johnny Depp's singing voice made me giggle. He sounds so Jack Sparrow-ish. I love it haha.

And I will never look at Snape, Wormtail, and Bellatrix the same way again. Now, I expect them to have musical numbers in the Harry Potter movies lol.

I love Toby. He's so cute and his singing voice is really good. I was a bit disgusted when he pulled that finger out of his mouth. Ugh!

Now that you mention it I do see what you're talking about. Perhaps the same actress did both roles?

It was a bit of a HP reunion. I was surpised at Alan Rickman's voice; he can actually hold a tune. Pettigrew, however, cannot sing AT ALL. Me and my friend were laughing at him in the cinema. And at every time Johnny Depp said "Fancy a shave?"

I saw it about a week ago myself, loved it and now own the entire soundtrack. Maybe it's because I've never seen the musical or because of the lack of good movies recently, but it's among my favorites now. Singing a sweet song about your missing daughter while slicing up throats? Discussing how people of various occupations and social classes would taste? Brilliant.

Sweeny Todd is certainly the best musical I have seen at the movies since the 2004 Phantom of the Opera. I certainly am planning on seeing a Broadway staging of it thats in town in February.

I liked it, Helena was awesome! My friend took me. She then showed me a clip of Angela Lansbury doing the "A Little Priest" song back in the 70's or 80's, it was fricken creepy!!!

I saw it a couple of days ago and i thought it was brilliant.

I loved the techniques employed by Tim Burton (the director) and the music.
