Marina & The Diamonds, her lyrics are very deep and relatable. I recommend Fear and Loathing.

Josh Pyke: very authentic and he has a really nice voice too

Fiona Apple: For a minute there i thought i was listening to Adele singing haha :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:. Thanks for the recommendation

heatqueen: That last night Lucy Spraggan song is somewhat addictive to listen to

Thanks Rarar i'll check it out

Yeah i know about Belle and Sebastian and Liz Phair (personally don't like a majority of her music, not my preference). You got any songs from Cecile Corbel and PJ Harvey?

Joni Mitchell: It soothing listening to her sing :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Seal. His music is great to listen to whatever mood your in. Sad, happy, relaxed, active etc. And ge just has a voice that could sing the phonebook and you'd want to listen to.

This might sound silly but Shakira. Her early stuff is very accoustic and folksy. And most people say she sounds even better in Spanish (me included)
