I have a big TV/Movie Collection. I was wondering if anyone else had a big one as well? Most of my collection are girly movies and T.V. Shows.

Oh my actual shit. I have never met anyone else who has actually seen Dogville, let alone like it. I studied Media at A level and watched it for the first time then. Its such an amazing film, it has been a few years since ive seen it though. The one scene that sticks in my mind is the rape scene, where people are just going about their daily business around her. The lack of walls and doors really smacks you in the face with the whole 'what happens behind closed doors' message going on. ...anyway, after that little outburst of excitement. I got a blu-ray player for xmas and a few blu-rays to go with it. I'm currently watching 'Stargate: Continuum' to break the bluray in. I love it, i cant wait to increase my blu-ray collection.
Just a recommendation, if you want to see how great the picture quality can be, I'd recommend picking up The Dark Knight Rises (or renting it). The transfer is gorgeous.
I have Blu-Ray3D, if that counts...... I currently have Brave, Final Destination 5, Harry Potter collection, Spy Kids "All the Time in The World", and Katy Perry the Movie. An odd combination it is...

I've never heard anyone mention Dogville either! Awesome. +++ for you, haha. Sad to say I don't remember that particular scene. It's been too long since I last saw it and I really should watch it again some day soon. What made me watch it in the first place is the way the set was shaped, or better: the lack of an actual set, but just lines on the floor. It fascinated me even before I've seen it and it still fascinates me. Now excuse me while I go put the Dogville dvd on my table as a reminder to watch it
Due to your recommendation, i watched Dark Knight Rises last night. The picture quality was amazing, but i feel like the film was abit crap. I've not been a big fan of the Nolan batman films from the start, but i really thought this would be better. Personally i think that Dark Knight was a much better film.
I really dont know what it is about the new Batman films, but i really dont see the appeal. Dark Knight was amazing because of Heath Ledger, whenever i watch it, i watch for him and I really hate Christian Bale, his stupid Batman voice is so bloody annoying! I think its because ive never been a fan of the character Batman or any other DC comics in general, I've always preferred Marvel
Different strokes for different folks I say. Marvel movies are more of a fun ride and the Dark Knight Trilogy is more of a superhero crime drama. Both are good forms of entertainment but neither is going to be loved by everyone. Personally, I lean more towards the Dark Knight Trilogy because I just feel the Marvel movies are a little light on story and character development for my taste (besides Iron Man, which I think is the best of the MCU. The only problem I have with it is a weak climax). I honestly don't see what's so special about The Avengers as a movie (other than it bringing together various franchises), like you with TDK. As I said, different strokes for different folks.
I really like (blue-ray)3D movies,so I am somewhat limited in choice as most movies are not in eD.Recently watched Titanic, which was really great and much better than in 2d,Hugo which is great for the technical bits and GNOMEO and Juliet, with music from Elton John. Now waiting to get Avatar in 3D as well.
