What are some songs that have inspired and helped you through a tough time? Some of mine are Outlaws of Love by Adam Lambert, Looking 4 Myself by Usher, Shout by Tears For Fears and You Are Not Alone by Michael Jackson.
I just love most of Alicia Keys' work for some reason; especially her short track "Not Even The King", the lyrics are just simply perfect. Here: http://youtu.be/yXQmoWFJAJo (Love her little talk at the start)
Just gonna throw it out there and say that Outlaws of Love gets me every time. It's a real tear jerker. Also...notice my signature. It's from Home by Phillip Phillips... This song....it expresses exactly how I feel about all of you, and it also helps me when I'm down, too. It's onf ot those songs that makes you smile while you're crying from the soul. Another one like that is Bittersweet Symphony from The Verve. I've got tons, but those will do for now.
"Don't Jump" by Tokio Hotel has seen me through some of the worst times in my life. "Zoom Into Me" by the same band has done the same. "Don't Bury Me... I'm Still Not Dead" by The Riverboat Gamblers is one of the more inspiring songs out there for me.
Whataya want from me? - Adam Lambert Love Hurts - Incubus Set fire to the third bar - Snow Patrol Love song - the Cure Try sleeping with a broken heart - Alicia Keys Also love "outlaws of love" And one of my ALL time favorites Fast car - Tracy Chapman. That song gets to me every time I've wanted to escape life
I'm Alive - Disturbed actually does it for me... it makes me feel strong and powerful and like there's no one on this earth who can tell me what to do.
This. Also, Whitney Houston - The Greatest Love of All especially the line "Learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all" The Feeling - Strange
