From baseball! 54 days til pitchers and catchers report! Anyone else getting excited? I'm excited, but nervous for 2014. The Cardinals had a relatively quiet offseason this year, but next year, lots of players are up for free agency. Need some insurance in the middle infield though, that was our bad point last year. As for my local team, the Mets - well, they signed David Wright, but that's about it. They got rid of Dickey and lots of other talent. I wonder if they actually care sometimes.....oh well, such is the life of a Mets fan, I have my Cardinals that are actually competitive!
