I don't really care for the movie, but the book was amazing. In fact, a few of my friends call me Soda-pop because of how I dress

I looooved that book after I read it in middle school. I still watch the movie on occasion because it's so nostalgic. I think I liked Johnny the best. Perhaps Sodapop

I love that book/movie! It's one of the few books that I've read several times. My favorite character is either Dallas, Johnny, Sodapop, or Ponyboy. And I love the time period that it's set in. Man, the 50s and 60s are so cool!

I'm really not proud of this, but the reason I couldn't get through the book was because of those names.

  13. I remember we read the book in middle school and then they showed the movie after we finished the book. I loved both. My favorite character was and will always be Ponyboy

I've both seen the movie and read the book. I did the movie first. So I feel in love with the movie. I also made my 13 yr old son read the book - which he did not want to at first, but then he loved it, read it in a couple of hours and the we sat down and watched the movie together.
