Up actually did fairly little for me. Not that I didn't like it (it was heartwarming and adorable) I didn't find it really sad, per se.

What completely punched me in the gut was Bridge to Terabithia. Now I'm usually a very emotionally strong guy, but near the end of this movie, oh my god. I was wrecked for like a week.

Jack Ketchums The Girl Next Door. Its a horror/Drama about child abuse based on a true story. Disturbing as it is depressing my family was left sobbing for days.

Uh, spoiler alert? You might want to edit your post for the people who haven't seen the film yet.

Anyways, I love when a movie can make me tear up. Here's a few that provoked manly tears:

    Hesher
    The Iron Giant
    Sling Blade
    Terminator 2: Judgment Day
    Barry Lyndon
Boys Don't Cry (Yes they fucking do)
    Shortbus
The Butterfly Effect (The Director's Cut)
    Artificial Intelligence
    The Dark Knight Rises

Where the Wild Things Are. When Max got on the boat to go back home and was howling goodbye to all of his friends. Actually, I think I cried about three times when I first saw that movie, and now I usually still cry at the end, for sure.

    Brave.

(Yes, I still watch Disney movies. Don't judge me.)

I saw the Les Miserables movie the other day and there were five separate occasions where I burst into tears. But it was okay because my entire family did the same.

Gawww..love this topic! I am a huge baby when it comes to certain movies:
Titanic, the notebook, keith(jesse marcartney!), Treasure Planet, Ghost.

If you have never seen these nxt two movies...go watch them now!!! They are like those movies you can never ever forget the story line too..they are touching heart warming..and emotional

If only, A walk to remember

I have more (sadly :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:) but those are the top ones !!

  14. Up did it to me too only other one I can really remember is The Royal Tenenbaums, which absolutely DESTROYED me. However it is one of my favourite films of all time so...highly recommended but bring the tissues along.

Now I'm finding myself to be an ol' softy, most movies with sad parts now cause a tear or two

Honestly, The Last Song gets me every time. And there was this movie I saw about this husband and wife who tried everything to get pregnant and the woman got a blood transfusion for some reason and she ended up getting one tainted with HIV and she had given it to her husband and infant and the baby and the husband ended up dying a few years later. I can't remember the name of the movie but it was a true story.

Only three films ever made me cry. Bridge to Terabithia, Toy Story 3, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (The part where Snape died and his memories [It's been long enough to be able to say this without spoiler alert.])
