Discussion in 'Entertainment and Technology' started by JasmineFirebird, Jan 7, 2013.

  1. Anyone here like movies that are so bad they're actually pretty cool to watch?

You can list if you want to lol

    Hell yeah

I went through a phase recently of watching bad movies from the 80s on VHS - one that stands out was Trick Or Treat - features a cameo from Ozzy Osbourne playing an evangelist preacher lol.

  3. Lol cool. I gotta see that some time. Have you heard of Dead Alive, one of Peter Jackson's early films.

I think that's in my 'to watch' pile. I say pile. More of a large box lol. Some of Peter Jacksons films are seriously dodgy - makes you wonder how on Middle Earth he got the LOTR gig

  5. That's definitely something that got me thinking. It'll probably remain a mystery lol.

I think Killer Klowns From Outer Space is a perfect example of a B rated movie. XD

One of the weirdest films I ever watched was an Australian film called Bad Boy Bubby. I still remember the first time I heard of the film, about 10 years ago now...

Andy: *brandishes VHS tape* wanna borrow this? It's Mike's. Taped it off Channel 4.
Me: What is it? *notes that late night Channel 4 is renowned for being er... Dodgy*
Andy: It's called Bad Boy Bubby. It's Australian...
Me: Nah... It sounds shit... *starts to walk away*
Andy: Bubby shags his mum in it
Me: *stops abruptly* hand it over... :astonished:

MegaShark Vs Giant Octopus is one of my favourite films, its so bad its good. You know its going to be a good bad film when you have an 80's pop star in there.

Yes those are great too,... gotta have cheesy "Special effects"

Some I like are; Bells aka Murder by Phone(never duplicated about 1980), Shock Waves (the best zombie movie ever! 1978ish) Death Ship (Natzi German evil ghost ship 1980) So Fine (Ryan O'Neal, Jack Warden invent open rear jeans funny movie 1980) Used Cars (1980)Raising the Titantic (1980ish) Blood Beach (1981 monster under the sand eats people) when I saw that one I was afraid of the beach for years. Oh the late 70's and early 80's was the best era for the B movies I think. June

I was afraid to use the toilet for like 2 months after being forced to watch that as a kid by my sister.

It's also what caused my massive fear of clowns.
