    Does anyone know any good gay romance tv shows or movies they can recommend, I've seen the usual, Beautiful Thing, Queer As Folk, Broke back Mountain they are the only 3 I've seen and heard about.

    I wish some big TV exec would come up with something for us gay lot!.

    I think i will give that a try, thanks Given.

    Yeah QOF its brilliant, first there was a British version but that got axed after series 2 then America remade it. The relationship between Brian and Justin makes your heart melt!, especially near to the final few episodes of the final series, you should give it a try :slight_smile:

    I think i have!, can't remember much of it, doesn't one of the characters live with his sister or something and she moves out and leaves him with her child? and shes not very happy with him being gay?

    Happy Endings has some occasional gay plot lines and I think Max is one of the best gay characters of all time.

    the most was like shirtless up to waist and/or above private I think haha.

    it's just about relationships for a gay couple LOL.

    though I thought there were some plot holes back when I watch it

    *Thirteen Or So Minutes(Short)-about two 'straight' guys making out and talk about it

    Love & Other Disasters - it stars Britney Snow and it follows the story of her gay room mate trying to find this guy he saw and fell in love with. Really cute! :slight_smile:

    Imagine Me & You - the cutest lesbian love story ever! :slight_smile: It made my heart melt

    Kissing Jessica Stein - dont watch it! Its dreadful! Its about a girl exploring her sexuality and then deciding that shes straight. Downer plot

    Camp - theres a hot river scene between a gay guy and a straight guy but thats about it. Lame storyline

    English version was better, more realistic/gritty etc. Americans have a habit of turning everything into sunshine and rainbows when it comes to drama/literature etc, a quality that I genuinely admire, since I'm so used to the pesimistic English spirit. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    But when a show has explicit scenes of drug use/sex etc, the American optimism seems kinda... out of place, really. >.>
