There seems to be quite a few artists here on EC but no place to show your work really, So I am dedicating this thread to show off your work, because no matter how good or bad you may think it is, It deserves to be shared ^.^ I can't figure out how to insert a picture, the image code doesn't seem to be working (broken box thing appears when I try) so I'll just link you to an album on my profile If you want to check out some of my stuff - Click Here
I love your work! Especially the collage. I've done a ton of those, but I lost my drawing book. >_< You're extremely talented. I have a few of my little doodles on my profile, but they're just simple drawings that I did. Definitely not my best. This one is one that I did for a math project 4 years ago. For some reason, my math teacher wanted to see everyone's artistic ability. It would definitely look better if I hadn't used colored pencils. :c
Everyone so far has pretty awesome stuff! I have a lot of artwork, but I think I might just share one piece for now. (sorry for the large size, I can attempt to scale it down if it bothers anyone!) This is one of the few that I've actually totally completed. It's done with outlining pen/sharpie, colored pencils, and a few basic copic marker shades. I drew this way back near the beginning of the school year, but I still like it ^^
@anthemic - Totoro huh, i'm afraid I don't know that show, looks really nice though! @seer - wow, that's good copic marker shades huh, i've never used em b4..... PS: how the heck did u guys post the image in :/
Thank you! Copic markers are Japanese drawing markers typically used for coloring and shading in anime/manga. They're REALLY expensive though, so I only have a basic set and one skin tone as of right now ^^; And there's a little button on the top that looks like two mountains over a yellow background. If you hover over it it says "insert image." Click on it and you can enter a direct link to the image, and viola, inserted picture! The HTML code is (with the link in between) if you have any trouble finding the button (I did when it was my first time on this type of forum xD).
Thanks! It's actually a movie. It's really cute. You should check it out. ^-^ I used Photobucket to insert my image. When you upload the photo to your account, just copy the IMG link on the right side of the page.
http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m5cz1eSK2V1qi72rco1_1280.jpg That's an old drawing of Sherlock I did. My scannar doesn't really do it justice though.
Wow, you guys are good http://emptyclosets.com/forum/members/24689-albums4253.html That's some of my works... I'm glad to see there are many people who love to draw here.
Wow, your work is really good! I really like your black and white animal drawings- what techniques did you use? Also, am I right in assuming that pencil was used as a medium?
Thanks! I'm not sure about techniques, I kinda learned it on my own. I learned from drawing photos without tracing first, then learning anatomy. Yeah, pencil is what I'm most comfortable to draw with The black and white ones are all pencil drawings. ---------- Post added 15th Jan 2013 at 03:17 PM ---------- That's really cool. I agree, scanner sucks. It managed to ruin every each of my drawings.
I can't paint, but I can draw with pencils (black & white / color), BUT, when I erected:***: my artwork from exams at the school's exhibition, someone was so jealous with my work that they ripped all my good drawings down, and THEN stole my nametag from the board. After two years of study, and a ten hour exam, I received an 'X' = fail! Sad story, but there you go (hug please)
that...is a really depressing story.. (*hug*) i should start uploading stuff to places again... I pulled this off my DevinatART, no sig or link, so no worries did it useing a bamboo art tablet for my desktop computer (!)
