I'd recommend Two Door Cinema Club, Metric, Airiel, Asobi Seksu, and Blonde Redhead.

Besides some albums I will love forever, I always have these moments of obsession with certain albums. Right now they are PJ Harvey's Let England Shake and Digitalism's I Love You, Dude, both from 2011.

And I'm already obsessing over the new Foals album that comes out next month, even while I've only heard two songs from it.

I'm just getting into PJ Harvey! I just listened to Dry the other day. It was really good. Other than that I've been listening to a lot of Warren Zevon, David Bowie and The White Stripes.

It's different from Otep's regular style, and objectively, I'd say it's a let-down of a song as the first single off of their final album. But it hits me in just the right spot and I'm falling in love with it. Call it a guilty pleasure.

I love Crystal Castles. Seriously even though their music is hella depressing it's still some good shit if you were to ask me.

 

No Doubt, Rita Ora, Pixie Lott, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Jennifer Lopez... I've gone really poppy recently.

 

right now im sort of addicted to Ellie Goulding's Halcyon album. I cant stop listening to it and it's one of those albums where you can be obsessed with 1 track from it for a few days and then end up doing it with each track

 

The two albums I'm obsessed with at the moment would be Visions by Grimes and Lonerism by Tame Impala. I love The XX and Arcade Fire so you might like these, I'll put up my favourite track by both.

Halo. Over the past week and a half I've played through Halo 4 (twice), Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo Reach all on Heroic. Tomorrow I plan on starting Halo CE and Halo 2. Not to mention I'm also reading Halo: Contact Harvest at the moment.

I probably know more about the history of the Halo universe then I do the history of America.
