I went to the Grand opening of an Apple store =] it was awesome! so many people, I had to take pictures! This is a downstairs view from the back of the shop (I was standing on the glass staircase) This is upstairs with all the software and a little children's area to have a go on the Mac's. It was loads of fun, and i got - And I will be going back there next month (Milton Keynes is an hour away from where I live) to get - =] Unfortunatly they ran out of free t-shirts at 11oclock and I got there at 4 =[ Ahh well Anybody ever been to a Apple store grand opening before? And anyone been to the New York Cube ? I soooo want to go there!
Both I went to the Carrefour Laval opening 1 1/2 years ago, very cool. It was the first and still is the only store in Quebec. And I got a T-shirt. And when I went to New York in November they let us hang out on Fifth Avenue so we spent like 1 hour at the cube. Lots of fun
wow that apple store looks IDENTICAL to the one in my mall. the one in nyc is really awesome, i was there last weekend and its HUGE heres the entryway at 59th street, and the whole thing is underground:
I've been to Apple Fifth Avenue Cube but didn't go inside cuz I don't have Mac and I felt like I didn't fit in
I wouldn't fit in either. Apple are very into brand image, and brand image doesn't do anything for me.
