I am still in otter distress over tonights episode, but it also reaffirmed why I am insanely into this show.

Any other fans of Downton Abbey? I only came to be one last year, shortly after the final episode of season 2 had aired; netflix had added season 1, and i got hooked almost immediatly.

I just ordered the season 3 dvd, which comes out tuesday, all because after Julian Fellows choose to rip my guts out tonight, I dont want to wait a week between episodes.

Actually, I haven't seen any of the series, yet, but it looks like it's right up my alley. Need to check out some of the past seasons soon.

Just caught up with seasons 1 and 2. I'm almost up to speed with season 3! I still have Sunday's episode to watch! Love it!

I do consider it one of my guilty pleasures mainly because I hate soaps/dramas. But for some reason you set it in a different era and I'm game.

If you like Downton abbey, then you might like The Paradise & Mr Selfridge.

I watched it when it was on in the UK, but I think I know which episode you're talking about. I was so distraught, and almost stopped watching, but then I realized that that's what makes it sooo good. It's painful waiting for more.

I ended up breaking down and buying the dvd the moment it came out so I didnt have to wait for the rest to air in america. I am going to buy the second season next, as the first is on netflix.

I like Downton probably because it's et in a different era and gives some historical insight into it.
For a change with a lot of films we in the Uk are for once 'advanced' to the US people,as all 3 series were shown on UK TV...

I AM TOTALLY ADDICTED TO THIS SHOW. Except for the fact that something bad happens every time a baby is born.
