Do y'all love John Hughes movies as much as me?

I miss his movies. I am watching The Breakfast Club now. The only movie clever enough to come close to one of his films is Easy A.

    What do you guys think?

l'm not a big movie person but l did like the feel/tone of this movie. So if that's his theme, l liked it.

    l loved Ally Sheedy's character.

The Breakfast Club is one of my favourite movies. Even the ending is just amazing.

John Hughes made great films all up to Home Alone. Then, something happened to him afterward.

I agree. I loved that classic 80's cast and the honesty in the characters. It seems to strike a certain cord.

He's later work is just not the same quality

Just found a themed shirt at a thrift store! It'll be worn/torn by the next year. The Breakfast Club is my absolute fav john hughes movie. I love Ally Sheedy sooo much (High Art anyone? ). When Easy A practically made a tribute to john it became another one on my favorite list. I wish high school was that cool for me though.

Pretty In Pink, Weird Science, Sixteen Candles, and St. EL
    Elmos Fire defined the 80's.

I love all John Hughes films so much. Pretty in Pink, Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Uncle Buck, yeah. They all have that awesome 80's vibe. I did like Easy A as well, though!

Looove all his movies. My favorite director of the 80s. I've seen and loved other movies from other directors of the decade, but Hughes cornered the market for me.
