Shrinking photos

    I feel like a total idiot posting this, but I am just having trouble scaling down my photos to upload. Not a real photo shop kid...anyways, any thoughts will be much appreciated

    paint is easy to use :icon_bigg
    open paint, go to image ->> stretch/skew image ->> change percentage.

    You can do it in paint, or it's not too difficult in photoshop either:

    Open the photo, go Image -> Image Size and make the width about 500 px
    Go File -> Save As, and save it wherever as a jpeg, job done

    An awesome investment is this free program called "Infraview" just download it and it makes sizing REALLY easy

    I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager...but then I think I'm the only one who use it on here:eek:

    You can download Picasa for free. Other tools like the Flickr Uploadr automatically resize pics when you upload them.

    I would recommend Paint.NET as it's smaller and more lightweight than Photoshop and it's perfect if all you need it for is resizing.

    You mean Irfanview?
