A small myth that's easy to test without the need for explosives? Okay, but after we're done, LET'S BLOW SHIT UP!

    I love this show!

^^I was going to say something like that lol. "Here's a myth about something that explodes. Let's see if it's plausible." *tests myth* "turns out it's sort of plausible under a WORST-case scenario. Let's pack it full of C4 and propane tanks to get the full effect of the video though."

Used to watch it over at a friends every now and then and a couple times even in my freshman physical science class when we had no other plans for the day. It's a pretty interesting show~ I'm just not a huge TV guy so I never really sit down and seek it out or anything.

My friend once said that it takes them an hour to explain/investigate something that could easily be done in fifteen minutes. It's an hour long show after all and I get it - they have to come up with 60 minutes worth of experiments to fill that slot. But sometimes it just gets boring after a while.

Other than that I really like the show. Seeing how Adam and Tory constantly keep injuring themselves is kinda amusing. Plus, they blow shit up in almost every episode, so yeah

  8. Pretty interesting show. Some of the last moderately intelligent people left on TV.

  11. This is the show. It’s like four minutes of science and then ten minutes of Grown men themselves.

Sadly enough on cable at least. With premium packages that get Science Channel, you still have Into The Universe (Stephen Hawking, nerdgasm), Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman, and tons of shows about stuff other than idiots having pointless trashy squabbles.

Mythbusters is cool for its scientific approach to myths, though. It makes the scientific method palatable for kids who only know it as "the way to pass a science fair project."
