Because they get off by trying to ruin people's lives. I don't personally think he's gay, but if he is it is his choice to come out or not. The media need to learn respect and privacy, but I don't see that happening any time soon.
Isn't he a believer in Scientology? What a cult that is. I've heard they're the kind who believe homosexuals should be segregated from society since they're considered a destruction to ethics. But besides that, it's all media. People just say shit and claim false accusations for attention (which is what I found after googling this whole gay rumour thing). Whatever grabs ahold of the public. There's no such thing as privacy in the public eye. I seriously doubt he's gay but I don't care. If he is, he is?
I think it's because he's creepy. He just looks weird anymore. He looks too shiny and prim and put together. It's kind of freaky.
I don't think he's gay, but I highly doubt he's straight, and he seems to have experimented with orientation and gender a fair bit. The media jumps all over it because they still haven't figured out that there are more options than "homosexual" and "heterosexual", and that there are actually a really high number of us queers--so one aging actor isn't really that big a deal.
