I was wondering if you think that Candis Cayne (the Transwoman) who was in Dirty Money (Please excuse me if I got the name wrong) on ABC Television at night either still on now, or cancelled within the last few years is a milestone in the step for the transgendered community? I, of course, think she is and I am glad that the boundaries have changed as in the past where even in Playboy, the Kelly Van Deer nude photospread was only allowed in the Netherlands or Roberta Close (who posed pre operative supposedly)in the same magazine. However, not to say that nude magazines and regular TV and film are the same, but the general idea as the transgendered community has been often turned away from pop culture in the past. Yasmin Lee (a porn transsexual star) was in a recent movie called The Hangover II who I think is another milestone as the fact she works in xxx domination as well as simply porn, to be allowed. Back to topic here, what is everyone here think about Miss Cayne? Is she someone who has opened doors to future women in mainstream film and TV? By the way Kelly Van Deer and Roberta Close I think made it respectively to acting in their native countries as well.
