I know this may be hard for people but here's the question anyway. If you could recommend only one album to someone what would it be? (Please limit you response to one album. This is meant to be tough).

Agalloch - The Mantle. It changed my outlook on music and what it could be.

Infinity on High - Fall Out Boy

This album turned me into an FOB freak, opened up the pathway for my vocal style, and turned my style of music around from heavy metal to something more refined and cool. It also gave me a great taste of metaphorical lyrics and songwriting which has helped me immensely in how good my own lyrics are. To put it simply, this album changed my life.

This album was the ambiance and voice to some of the worst times of my life. It's changed me, ultimately. You don't know music until you're up at 3 in the morning, crying to it. Underrated masterpiece.

    Bill Holt's The Dreamies.

Not my usual type of music, but its pretty amazing, and a rare album (not so much anymore thanks to the internet) It takes you on a trip... An interesting collage of music and sound bites. When I first heard it, it really captured my mind. Its something that always takes me back to high school now when I hear it.. Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but something interesting that is way too underrated and deserves a wider audience.

    Just one album? Easy.
Fiona Apple - The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than the Driver of the Screw and Whipping Cords Will Serve You More Than Ropes Will Ever Do. My favourite album of all time.

This album has helped me through the conflicts I came to experience. It's definitely not easy listening, but that's exactly why I like it. It's complex without trying to be.

My favourite song off the album is 'Left Alone'.

Not my favourite album but I do love it. I've recommended it to people before and nobody's said they dislike it.

So much emotion! Every note and every word is so well crafted! The album creates a cohesive narrative, and at the same time all the lyrics are symbolic of things in the band members lives, such as the drummer's sister's suicide, their lead guitarist getting nearly killed and going into a weird ethereal coma for a week, and just all the feelings from life on the road. It's truly a music masterpiece!

This album has really helped me out of some rough times. I've just found it so relatable... And I'm kind of in love with Billie Joe Armstrong

Pink Floyd's The Dark Side Of The Moon. It is perfection and pure auditory bliss from the beginning all the way to the final heartbeat.
