I'm not sure if anyone here knows a lot about networking and such, but can anyone tell me how to acquire foreign IP addresses using the command prompt? Whoever can wins internets!
Assuming you want a foreign IP address on the Internet, you can't do anything on your PC to get that. Your internet IP address is set by your internet company. You would need to use a proxy server in another country. These are often accessed in a web browser, you enter the site address in a page on their site and it loads the page as though from that country and displays it for you. It's slow, messy and usually covered in adverts. You also can't access SSL (secure https) sites. OK for viewing sites but you won't do audio or video streaming reliably through them. Plus a lot of the sites that stream content and restrict it to certain countries (like the BBC) block many proxy servers.
